Kathy Chavez Dies in Lake Balboa Crash on North Balboa Boulevard 

Lake Balboa, California (February 9, 2023) – Kathy Chavez, 45, was killed in a traffic collision in the San Fernando Valley on Wednesday, according to a local news source.

The fatal accident occurred in the 6400 block of North Balboa Boulevard at around 3:45 a.m. February 8.

Authorities said a speeding driver failed to stop for a stop sign and collided with a vehicle driven by Chavez.

The other driver was also killed in the accident. His name was not immediately released.

Authorities are investigating the collision.
