Kathryn Daher Hurt in Deadly Blythe Collision on State Route 95

Blythe, California (May 12, 2023) – Kathryn Daher, 42, of Palm Desert, was airlifted after a deadly collision between two vehicles near Blythe in Riverside County on Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at around 8 a.m. May 10, on State Route 95 near Sixth Avenue.
A 2002 Subaru Forester was reportedly traveling south on SR 95 when it drifted across the centerline and collided with the left rear of a northbound 2012 Jeep Wrangler.
The impact caused both vehicles to flip multiple times.
The driver of the Subaru, Travis Hunt, 24, of Desert Hot Springs, was ejected in the incident. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Daher was a passenger in the Subaru and was airlifted to Desert Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
The Jeep’s driver, Dianna Clinton, 66, of Blythe, was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
The CHP is investigating the incident.
