Jordan Bowen Injured in Car Accident on 8 Freeway near Forrester Road in Imperial County

Imperial County, California (February 22, 2023) – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a car crash in El Centro, Imperial County, on Monday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 8:55 p.m. on Interstate 8 eastbound east of Forrester Road.

36-year-old Jordan Austin Bowen, of San Ysidro, was driving a 2007 Ford Freestar eastbound on Interstate 8 when he crashed into the rear of a 2021 Ford box truck driven by 51-year-old Camila Corrales, of El Centro.

Bowen suffered major injuries and was transported to El Centro Regional Medical Center where he was treated for his injuries.

Additional information about the accident was not provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
