An Audi A6 was heading south in the No.3 lane when it struck French in the roadway
Sacramento, CA.- The victim killed in a pedestrian crash that occurred in Sacramento early Saturday morning has been identified as John Lorenzo French, 35, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened at about 5:20 a.m. April 12, on Business 80 near American River.
An Audi A6 was heading south in the No.3 lane when it struck French in the roadway.
French was then hit by a Mazda CX-30 SUV traveling behind the Audi.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The involved drivers remained at the scene after the accident.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
