26-Year-Old Jesus Vega-Cruz Killed in Patterson Accident on Orange and Elm Avenues

Patterson, California (March 7, 2023) – 26-year-old Jesus Vega-Cruz, of Patterson, was killed in a vehicle collision on Monday afternoon near Patterson, according to the authorities.

The deadly colision occurred on March 6 at Orange and Elm avenues.

CHP said 20-year-old Mario Estrada, of Crows Landing, was driving in a Ram pickup eastbound on Orange when he failed to yield at the intersection and collided with a Dodge SUV driven southbound on Elm Avenue.

Vega-Cruz was one of the three people in the SUV. All three were killed.

Authorities identified the other two victims as Vega-Cruz’s parrents, Armando Vega, 56, and Maria Cruz Alarez, 56, of Patterson.
Estrada and his passenger sustained minor injuries. The incident is under investigation.
