Jurupa Valley, California (August 16, 2021) – The Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner has identified the bicyclist who died following a Sunday morning traffic collision in Jurupa Valley as Jeffrey Bowen, 69, of Eastvale.

The accident happened at about 10:20 a.m. Sunday, August 15, on Limonite Avenue at Etiwanda Avenue.

Deputies said the bicyclist and a black Chevrolet Silverado collided after one of them made a sudden U-turn.

Man Killed in Jurupa Valley Bicycle Crash Identified

The bicyclist, now identified as Bowen, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The driver of the truck was unharmed and remained at the scene.

No further details were released.

The crash is under investigation.
