Jay Wade Injured in Yountville Motorcycle Crash on Highway 29 and Madison Street
Yountville, California (June 23, 2022) – Authorities have identified the rider injured in the Yountville motorcycle collision as 52-year-old Jay Wade, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at around 4:32 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, on southbound Highway 29 at Madison Street.
As per the CHP officials, Wade was heading south on the highway when he collided with a 2013 Dodge for unknown reasons. The Dodge was driving through the junction at Madison Street when the collision happened.
Wade was thrown out of his bike following the impact.
Responding emergency crews took Wade to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center for treatment.
Officials said that the Dodge driver was not hurt in the accident.
No additional information regarding this incident was provided.
An investigation is underway.
