South Los Angeles, California (August 21, 2022) – Janisha Harris, 35, has been identified as one of the two parties who were killed in an early Friday morning multi-vehicle accident in South Los Angeles, authorities said.

The deadly accident occurred on August 19, at the corner of Manchester Avenue and South Broadway in Florence, right off the 110 Freeway.

According to the police, the crash was caused by a driver of a Cadillac who fled from an attempted traffic stop. 

The driver of the Cadillac reportedly took off down the street, westbound on Manchester Avenue.

Unfortunately, the Cadillac struck a black BMW that was traveling southbound on Broadway. 

Sadly, Harris, who was a passenger in the BMW, and another person in the BMW were killed on impact. Harris was a mother of two.

Three people in the speeding Cadillac were arrested. 

An investigation into the accident is underway.

South Los Angeles, California (August 19, 2022) – Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle collision in South Los Angeles early Friday morning, according to the authorities.

The incident happened at 231 W. Manchester Avenue near South Broadway at around 4:14 a.m.

Four vehicles were involved in the collision.

Authorities went to the scene and found that two people died in the incident.

One other party was treated for minor injuries at the scene.

Authorities are working to determine why the multi-vehicle accident happened.
