James Griffin Killed in Lynwood Accident on State Street and Tweedy Boulevard

Lynwood, California (February 6, 2023) – James Griffin, 20, was among three people who died in a collision in Lynwood on Sunday morning, according to the county coroner’s office.

The wreck took place at around 2 a.m. February 4, on State Street and Tweedy Boulevard.

Authorities said two vehicles were involved in the incident.

Two people died at the scene while three others were taken to a hospital, where one of them died.

Authorities identified two of the victims as Griffin and Flavio Balderas, 60.

The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
