, AZ – The authorities have released the identity of a motorcyclist who was killed after colliding with a vehicle at an intersection in Tucson early Monday.

The Tucson Police Department identified the deceased rider as 64-year-old James Richard Forshey.

According to TPD, Forshey was riding a motorcycle westbound on Valencia Road and was not wearing a helmet.

At the same time, a vehicle on the left turn lane of Valencia was trying to make a left-hand turn into a private driveway. The motorcycle and the car collided as the car began to turn.

Forshey was pronounced dead at the scene.

Tucson, AZ – The Tucson Police Department is investigating a deadly that happened in the city early Monday morning.

The accident occurred near the intersection of Valencia Road and Alvernon Way on Monday, August 11.

According to Tucson police, a man was riding a motorcycle in the area near Desert View High when the collision happened.

Authorities reported that two students were involved in the crash but were uninjured.

The motorcyclist, who was not immediately identified, was killed in the crash.

There was no further information on the collision.

The crash remains under investigation.
