At Least 1 Injured in Redding Crash at Cypress Avenue and Alfreda Way

Redding, California (May 15, 2023) – At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision at an intersection in Redding on Sunday, according to the Redding Police Department.

The incident took place on Cypress Avenue and Alfreda Way on Sunday, May 14.

Police said at least three cars were involved in the collision at the intersection.

At least one person was injured in the incident and was taken to a hospital by ambulance.

Authorities said one of the drivers was suspected to have been driving under the influence.

The intersection was closed temporarily as crews worked to clear the scene.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
