Hemet, California (April 20, 2017) – Two people were injured Tuesday following a two-vehicle crash Hemet, CA: Two Drivers Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash in Hemet, according to a police report.

The incident occurred shortly before noon on Tuesday, April 18 at the intersection of W. Devonshire and N. Lyon Avenues.

According to the report, witnesses told the police that a silver Chrysler Sebring struck a gold Toyota Venza broadside near the middle of the intersection.

Reportedly, the Toyota went over the curb and crashed head-on into a concrete light pole, knocking down the pole.

AMR medics responded to the scene and treated both drivers for minor injuries at the scene. The two drivers declined to be taken to a hospital.

Both cars sustained moderate damages.

The incident remains under investigation.
