Police Officer Injured in Ripon Motorcycle Crash on Highway 99 

Ripon, California (February 9, 2023) – A Hayward police officer riding a motorcycle was injured in a traffic collision on Thursday morning in Ripon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident took place shortly after 8:30 a.m. on Highway 99 at Jack Tone Road.

CHP said the officer collided with a vehicle in the area.

The officer sustained moderate injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Traffic was affected on northbound Highway 99.

The CHP is investigating the wreck.
