Fresno, California (November 10, 2022) – Guadalupe Sandoval, 67, of Fresno, was among two people killed in a collision with a DUI driver in Fresno on Friday afternoon, according to the authorities.

The wreck happened at Elm and American Avenue at about 4:10 p.m. November 4.

A gold 2002 Pontiac Grand Am was involved in a head-on collision with a silver 2016 Hyundai Sonata traveling the wrong way.

The two occupants of the Pontiac, later identified as Sandoval and Ubaldo Palacio, 64, of Fresno, were pronounced deceased at Community Regional Medical Center.

The operator of the Hyundai was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and DUI.

The crash is under investigation.

Fresno, California (November 5, 2022) – One person was killed in a traffic collision that happened on Friday afternoon in Fresno, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The wreck happened at about 4:00 p.m. November 4, on Elm Avenue near American Avenue.

The CHP said a 66-year-old man was driving southbound on Elm Avenue when he swerved into the northbound side and collided head-on with an oncoming sedan.

Another vehicle traveling behind the sedan drifted into a ditch to avoid the crashed vehicles.

The driver of the sedan was pronounced deceased at a hospital.

Other parties involved in the crash sustained minor injuries.

The southbound driver was suspected of DUI.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
