2-Year-Old Girl Killed in Irvine Scooter Accident on 22 Creek Road
Orange County, California (October 30, 2022) – A two-year-old girl died after being struck by a car while riding a scooter in Irvine on Thursday evening.
Irvine police say the accident happened at around 8 p.m. on October 27, at Cross Creek Apartments on 22 Creek Road.
The girl was riding a scooter on a crosswalk when she was hit by a minivan exiting the apartment complex.
The girl was transported to an area hospital where she died while undergoing treatment.
The driver stopped at the accident scene and cooperated with the authorities
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
