
Franklin County, WA.- Four people were injured when an SUV carrying teens crashed and flipped multiple times on Highway 395 in Franklin County early Sunday morning, according to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.
The single-vehicle accident happened just after 1 a.m. November 30, 2025, at the Connell interchange north of Mesa.
According to deputies, a juvenile was driving a Chevrolet Blazer southbound on Highway 395 when the vehicle left the pavement and flipped multiple times. The vehicle eventually came to a rest up an embankment.
The driver and two passengers in the SUV, Dallas J. Mejia and Boden J. Duffield, both 18 and from West Richland, were all transported to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland. Another juvenile passenger was flown to Harborview.
Authorities reported that the driver was traveling too fast for conditions. The four occupants were wearing their seatbelts and impairment was not suspected to have played a role. The accident remains under investigation.
