Fontana Crash on 15 Freeway near Sierra Avenue Sends Several People to Hospital

Fresno, California (October 18, 2021) – A total of seven people were injured after two sedans crashed early Sunday morning in Fontana.

On October 17, at approximately 12:05 a.m., the California Highway Patrol received a crash report involving the two vehicles on the 15 Freeway near Sierra Avenue.

The circumstances that led to the collision on the northbound side of the interstate were not immediately available at the report time.

Due to the impact, one of the automobiles overturned onto its side.

Major Injury Fontana Car Crash

Seven unidentified people, including at least one who had sustained major injuries, were transported to a local hospital after the accident.

The crash resulted in the closure of the northbound lanes of the 15 Freeway for an unknown time.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
