Flavio Balderas Among Three Killed in Lynwood Accident on State Street

Lynwood, California (February 6, 2023) – Flavio Balderas, 60, has been identified as one of three people who were killed in a traffic collision in Lynwood early Sunday morning, the county coroner’s office reported.

The incident occurred at State Street and Tweedy Boulevard at about 2 a.m. February 5.

Authorities are still working to determine what caused two vehicles to collide in the area.

According to the report, two people died at the scene while three others were rushed to a hospital, where one of them also died.

Balderas and James Griffin, 20, were identified by the coroner as two of the parties killed.

There was no update on the condition of the hospitalized parties.

An investigation into the incident is underway.
