Fernanda Perez-Aldama Killed in Pedestrian Accident at Amigos Drive and Madsen Avenue in Fresno

Fresno County, California (February 25, 2023) – 13-year-old Fernanda Perez-Aldama was killed in a pedestrian accident earlier this month in Parlier.

The fatal pedestrian accident happened at around 6:20 p.m. on February 10, in the area of Amigos Drive and Madsen Avenue.

The California Highway Patrol says 53-year-old Elizabeth Ybarra was not paying attention and struck Perez-Aldama in the crosswalk.

Crews arrived at the scene and performed live-saving measures on the girl, but she succumbed to her injuries.

Ybarra was arrested Friday and booked into Fresno County Jail on a charge of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence.
