Pedestrian Killed in Carmichael Accident on Walnut Avenue and Fair Oaks Boulevard

Carmichael, California (May 3, 2023) – A 90-year-old woman was fatally struck by a car Wednesday afternoon at an intersection in Carmichael.

At around 1:14 p.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to the accident on Walnut Avenue and Fair Oaks Boulevard.

Reportedly, a woman was outside the crosswalk at the intersection when a vehicle struck her.

The female pedestrian was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

The name of the deceased was not immediately released.

An investigation into the incident is underway.
