1 Killed, Several Injured after Victorville Car Crash on Mariposa Road at Scandia Family Fun Center

Victorville, California (November 17, 2022) – One person died, and several others were injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday night on Mariposa Road in Victorville, as per a local news source.

The accident took place at about 8:30 p.m. in front of Scandia Family Fun Center between Nisqualli Road and Bear Valley Road.

According to the news source, three vehicles, including a pickup truck, were involved in the collision under unclear circumstances.

Police and firefighters rushed to the scene shortly after the incident.

One person was killed in the crash. The firefighters used the Jaws of Life to cut the door of a mangled vehicle and remove the deceased’s body.

About 3-5 other people required minor extrication. The victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Police shut down Mariposa Road in both directions during the rescue operation.
