3 Killed in Mountain Pass Accident on 15 Freeway near Primm

Mountain Pass, California (May 19, 2023) – Three people were killed Friday afternoon after a two-vehicle collision on the 15 Freeway in Mountain Pass.

According to the authorities, the deadly wreck happened at around 4:18 p.m. south of Yates Well Road on northbound Interstate 15.

The California Highway Patrol says grey and white sedans were involved in the incident. The events surrounding the crash were not immediately established.

Three people were killed in the accident.

The identities of the victims were not immediately disclosed.

One vehicle has its engine out.

A SigAlert was issued around 4:58 p.m., closing the roadway for approximately 4 hours. Lanes 1 and 2 were reopened just before 6:00 p.m.
