Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Highway 35 near Page Mill Rd in San Mateo Identified

San Mateo, California (May 15, 2023) – 58-year-old Eric Hull, of Santa Cruz County, has been identified as the motorcyclist who died in a crash on Saturday morning in San Mateo.

At around 9:30 a.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a motorcycle accident on Skyline Boulevard (Highway 35), between Page Mill Road and State Highway 9.

Hull was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on Skyline when he crashed into a Toyota 4Runner that was turning left into a private driveway.

The impact of the collision sent the motorcycle off the roadway where it slammed into a tree.

Hull, a resident of Boulder Creek in Santa Cruz, was killed in the collision.

The condition of the Toyota driver was not disclosed.

No additional information about the accident was not provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
