Edinson Castillo Identified as Man Killed in Koreatown 3-Vehicle Crash at Olympic Boulevard and Hoover Street
Koreatown, California (February 1, 2023) – Edinson Castillo Orjuela, 44, has been identified as the man who was killed in a three-vehicle accident on Tuesday morning in Koreatown, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office.
The deadly accident happened at about 1:45 a.m., on January 31, at Olympic Boulevard and Hoover Street.
According to the police, a vehicle was headed southbound on Hoover Street when it crashed into Castillo’s car that was traveling on Olympic Boulevard.
The crash impact reportedly caused Castillo’s vehicle to crash into a third car.
Sadly, Castillo was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and a passenger in the first vehicle were hospitalized in stable condition. Paramedics treated the driver of the third vehicle at the scene.
More details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
