Phoenix, AZ.- A driver was severely hurt in a crash involving multiple vehicles in west Phoenix on Monday morning, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The wreck took place on 75th Avenue and Van Buren Street shortly after 4 a.m.
Two semi-trucks and an SUV were involved in the collision and one of the vehicles caught fire.
The driver of the SUV was transported to a hospital with major injuries.
A second driver was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
