At Least 1 Killed in Fremont Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 880 near Auto Mall Parkway Off-Ramp

Fremont, California (February 20, 2023) – At least one person died in a motorcycle accident that occurred Sunday evening on a freeway in Fremont, the California Highway Patrol said.

The incident happened at around 6:19 p.m. on northbound Interstate 880, just south of the Auto Mall Parkway off-ramp.

As per the CHP report, the collision involved a motorcycle and a Volkswagen driven by a female driver.

Two parties were lying down in the No. 1 lane after the wreck.

Firefighters responded to the scene and blocked the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes.

At least one person died in the accident, the report said.

Authorities are investigating to establish the cause of the accident.
