1 Person Killed in Highway 17 Car Crash near Hamilton Avenue in Campbell

Campbell, California (May 26, 2023) – One person died in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Friday morning on Highway 17 in Campbell, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The pileup took place at around 4:10 a.m. in the southbound lanes north of Hamilton Avenue.

One person died in the crash.

The CHP report did not mention the total number of vehicles involved and whether the other parties involved were injured.

All lanes of southbound Highway 17 were blocked at 4:29 a.m. following the crash. One lane was reopened at 4:51 a.m.

CHP officers are investigating the cause of the collision.
