Boy, 9, Killed in Collision with Truck at Traver Way and El Camino Real in Arvin Identified
Arvin, California (February 24, 2023) – 9-year-old Damian Ayala Cardenas has been identified by the Kern County coroner as the boy who was killed in a bicycle accident in Arvin on Thursday.
The fatal crash happened at the intersection of Traver Way and El Camino Real, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The boy was riding a bicycle at the intersection when he slammed into a truck.
Cardenas was transported to Kern Medical where he died while receiving treatment.
