Coalinga, California (August 15, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Friday morning in a traffic collision in Coalinga, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened just after 10:15 a.m. Friday, August 13, on Interstate 5 at State Route 41.

The CHP said a motorcyclist collided with a black Toyota for undetermined reasons on the southbound side of the interstate.

The rider was thrown off the road upon the impact.
