Roberson was riding a blue Yamaha R1 motorcycle on McFadden Avenue when he slammed into the rear of a stopped yellow Ford tow truck

Huntington Beach, CA.- The motorcyclist who was killed in a crash in Huntington Beach on Friday afternoon has been identified as Christopher Roberson, 37, of Huntington Beach, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
The wreck was reported at around 3 p.m. August 16, on McFadden Avenue and Springdale Street.
According to the Huntington Beach Police Department, Roberson was riding a blue Yamaha R1 motorcycle on McFadden Avenue when he slammed into the rear of a stopped yellow Ford tow truck.
Roberson was declared deceased shortly after.
The driver of the truck stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
It's unclear whether impairment played a role in the incident.
The Huntington Beach Police Department is investigating the accident.
