Christopher Frias Hurt in Keyes Crash on Highway 99

Keyes, California (May 3, 2023) – Christopher Frias, 26, of Parlier, was injured in a car accident near Keyes on Saturday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on Highway 99 near the Keyes Road overpass at around 9:58 p.m. April 29.
CHP said Frias was driving a 2000 Chevy SUV southbound on Highway 99 in the middle lane when he made an unsafe lane change to the left and collided with the left back of a 2019 Mercedes driven by Manuel Guillen, 39, of Delhi.
The SUV then rolled over in the median and ejected two passengers.
One of the passengers, Erica Armenta, 27, of Parlier, was transported to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto with major injuries.
The other passenger, Mia Juarez, 2, of Parlier, also had major injuries and was flown to U.C. Davis Medical Center in Sacramento.
Guillen was not injured in the collision.
Frias had moderate injuries and was taken to Doctors Medical Center for treatment. He was later arrested on charges of DUI, child endangerment, and driving without a license. He was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
The incident is under investigation.
