1 Hurt After San Diego Car Accident on 805 Freeway and Imperial Avenue

San Diego, California ( February 8, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle accident that left at least one person with minor injuries on Tuesday afternoon in San Diego.

The crash occurred on 805 Freeway, south of Imperial Avenue, at about 2:55 p.m. on February 7.

Per the CHP officials, eight vehicles collided for reasons yet to be determined.

Firefighters and medical personnel responded to the scene to attend to at least one party injured in the crash. Police did not release the total number of patients involved in the collision.

The vehicles blocked the HOV lane, lanes 1 and 2 following the crash.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the cars from the crash site.

No additional information concerning this collision was provided.

The incident remains under investigation.
