Minor Injuries Sustained in Foster City Collision on San Mateo-Hayward Bridge

Foster City, California (March 2, 2023) – Minor injuries were sustained in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday afternoon on the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge near Foster City.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place at about 1:38 p.m. on the westbound Highway 92 mid-span on the bridge.

Three vehicles, including a gray Kia SUV, were involved in the accident.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and helped an unknown number of parties who sustained minor injuries.

Authorities are investigating to establish the cause of the crash.
