Several Hurt in Interstate 880 Collision near Bascom Avenue Off-Ramp in San Jose

San Jose, California (February 28, 2023) – Several people were hurt in a multi-vehicle collision that took place Monday afternoon on a freeway in San Jose, the California Highway Patrol said.

The incident occurred at about 5:31 p.m. on northbound Interstate 880, just south of the Bascom Avenue off-ramp.

Three vehicles, including an Audi Q3, were involved in the collision.

Several parties sustained visible minor injuries in the accident. It was not clear if any of the victims were hospitalized.

CHP officers are investigating to establish the cause of the accident.
