1 Injured in Fremont Car Accident on Highway 84 near KGO Towers

Fremont, California (March 8, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a five-vehicle collision that injured at least one person on Tuesday morning in Fremont.

The crash occurred on westbound Highway 84, west of KGO Towers, around 11:18 a.m. on March 7.

According to a California Highway Patrol report, five vehicles collided for unknown reasons.

Fire officials and medics attended to at least one individual injured due to the collision. The police did not release the total number of patients.

The vehicles were blocking lanes 1 and 2 following the accident.

Three of the five vehicles sustained moderate front and rear-ended damage following the collision. Tow trucks were requested to remove the cars from the accident location.

The roadway was cleared as of 12:32 p.m.
