1 Injured in Seal Beach Accident on 405 Freeway near Highway 22

Seal Beach, California (February 8, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a big rig collision that injured at least one person in Seal Beach.

The accident occurred at around 9:09 a.m. on February 7 on the 405 Freeway, just west of Highway 22.

Police said a blue Cadillac and a brown semi-truck crashed for unknown reasons.

Responding emergency crews and medical personnel attended to the Cadillac driver, who complained of arm and neck pain due to the accident. The patient couldn’t move their legs following the accident and was treated for minor injuries.

The vehicles were blocking the HOV lane following the accident. The cars were towed away from the accident location.
