1 Hurt in San Diego Car Accident on 15 Freeway and Scripps Poway Parkway

San Diego, California (March 4, 2023) – According to a California Highway Patrol report, one person was injured following a two-vehicle accident on Friday afternoon in San Diego.

The accident happened around 12:57 p.m. on March 3 on the northbound 15 Freeway, just south of Scripps Poway Parkway.

Police confirmed four vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.

Firefighters and medics rushed to aid one person hurt in the crash. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately released.

The vehicles were blocking lanes 4 and 5 following the collision.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the cars from the accident scene.
