1 Injured in San Marcos Accident on Highway 78 near San Marcos Boulevard

San Marcos, California (March 16, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a three-vehicle accident that injured one person on Wednesday afternoon in San Marcos.

The accident happened around 2:10 p.m. on March 15 on Highway 78, west of San Marcos Boulevard.

Police confirmed three vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.

Fire officials and medics rushed to aid an individual who complained of pain due to the accident. The individual was treated for minor injuries at the scene.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the accident location.
