1 Hurt in San Francisco Accident on Highway 101 and Cesar Chavez Street

San Francisco, California (February 10, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a three-vehicle accident that left one person with minor injuries on Thursday afternoon.

The multi-vehicle collision occurred on northbound Highway 101, just south of Cesar Chavez Street at around 3:59 p.m. on February 9.

Police confirmed three vehicles, including a silver Lexus sedan, crashed for reasons still under investigation. The Lexus sustained moderate front-end damage due to the collision.

Emergency crews and medics rushed to the scene to aid at least one person injured in the collision. Authorities did not release the total number of victims.

The cars were blocking lane 5 following the collision.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the cars from the accident scene.
