1 Injured in Fremont Accident on 680 Freeway near Auto Mall Parkway

Fremont, California (February 27, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle accident that injured at least one person on Sunday night in Fremont.

The crash happened at around 10:52 p.m. on February 26 on northbound 680 Freeway, just south of Auto Mall Parkway off-ramp.

According to the CHP officials, two vehicles, including a Toyota Camry, crashed for reasons still under investigation. The Toyota sustained rear damage following the crash.

Firefighters and medics rushed to the scene to attend to one person hurt in the collision. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately released.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the accident location.

No additional information concerning this collision was provided.
