1 Hospitalized After Chico Car Accident at Hegan Lane and Fimple Road

Chico, California (March 17, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle collision that hospitalized one person on Thursday afternoon in Chico.

The accident happened around 4:46 p.m. on March 16 at Hegan Lane, just west of Fimple Road.

Police said two vehicles, including a red Ford ranger, collided for reasons yet to be determined.

Firefighters and medical personnel rushed to the crash site to aid one person hurt in the accident. The patient was taken to Enloe Medical Center in Chico for treatment of minor injuries.

The vehicles were towed away from the accident scene.

Further details concerning this crash were not released.

The incident remains under investigation.
