Child Dies in Arvin Dirt Bike Collision on El Camino Real

Arvin, California (February 5, 2023) – A 10-year-old boy was fatally struck by a vehicle while riding a dirt bike in Arvin on Thursday afternoon, according to the authorities.

The crash happened on El Camino Real and Tarver Way at around 4:15 p.m. on February 2.

A Ford pickup truck reportedly collided with a bike rider in the area for unspecified reasons.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and attended to the victim before rushing him to a hospital.

The boy was sadly pronounced deceased at the hospital.

The driver of the Ford stayed at the scene after the incident and cooperated with the investigators.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
