Child on Bicycle Struck and Injured by Car on Woodrow Avenue in San Diego
San Diego, California (May 5, 2023) – A child was injured after being struck by a car on Thursday evening in Lomita.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 5:30 p.m. on the 1300 block of Woodrow Avenue.
The child was riding a bicycle in the area and was struck by a car.
The juvenile suffered major injuries in the accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the authorities.
