According to PCSD, a bicyclist was rear-ended at the intersection by a Ford Escape that was making a right turn onto Davis Avenue

Pima County, AZ.- A bicyclist was killed in a collision with a vehicle in Pima County on Saturday evening, according to the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
At around 5:15 p.m. November 8, authorities responded to calls of a crash on North Davis Avenue and Chester Way.
According to PCSD, a bicyclist was rear-ended at the intersection by a Ford Escape that was making a right turn onto Davis Avenue.
The bicyclist was rushed to a hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
The victim was identified as Cheryl Degeest, 53.
Speed and impairment were not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The driver was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign and causing death or injury by moving violation.
The incident is under investigation.
