Lake County, California (August 4, 2021) – Patrick Turner, 34, of Ukiah, was seriously injured after being involved in a deadly head-on collision in Lake County Saturday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at around 2:50 p.m. Saturday, July 31, on Highway 20, just west of Blue Lakes Road.

The CHP said a 1997 Mazda Protege sedan was heading eastbound on Highway 20 approaching a 2001 Volkswagen Jetta that was heading westbound.

For unknown reasons, the Mazda sedan crossed over the solid double yellow lines and collided head-on with the Volkswagen.

Following the collision, the two vehicles became disabled in the westbound lane of the highway.

The driver of the Mazda, Brittany Marie Turner, 31, of Ukiah, was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated by firefighters. Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Patrick Turner, who was riding as a passenger in the Mazda sedan, sustained major injuries in the crash. The driver of the Volkswagen and his passenger had minor injuries.

Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the collision.

The crash remains under investigation.

The crash happened at about 5:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of Sunrise Way near East Vista Chino Drive.

Authorities said a vehicle struck Greco for an unknown reason on North Sunrise Way.

Greco was pronounced dead at the scene at around 5:41 a.m.

The driver who struck the pedestrian reportedly remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

The accident is under investigation.

Burbank, California (August 5, 2021) – Natalee Asal Moghaddam, 19, of Calabasas was among three people killed in a Burbank car accident Tuesday morning, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.

The incident was reported just before midnight on August 3, on North Glenoaks Boulevard and Andover Drive. The vehicles involved were identified as a Mercedes-Benz, a Volkswagen and a Kia.

According to authorities, three people riding in the Volkswagen were ejected when the Volkswagen was split in half by the impact. The Volkswagen also caught fire due to the wreck.

Natalee Moghaddam Among 3 Killed in Burbank Crash 

The three occupants who were ejected, among them Moghaddam, died at the site of the accident. A woman in the vehicle suffered major injuries and was taken to a hospital.

The Kia crashed into parked cars in the area of Glenoaks Boulevard and Birmingham Road after the initial impact. The driver of the Kia sustained serious injuries and was taken to a hospital.

The two people in the Mercedes were not harmed in the crash.

Authorities said street-racing is believed to be a factor in the collision.

The investigation is ongoing.
