Phoenix, Arizona (September 3, 2023) – Five people, including a child, were injured in a car crash in west Phoenix on Saturday afternoon.

The accident happened in the area of 59th Avenue and Thomas Road at around 4:45 p.m. September 2, according to Phoenix police.

Two cars were involved in the accident.

The impact of the collision caused one of the cars to roll over.

Four adults suffered major injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment.

A child was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

The intersection of Thomas Road and 59th Avenue was temporarily closed as authorities examined the scene.
