Woman and Infant Hospitalized after Antioch Bus Accident on Delta Fair Boulevard
Antioch, California (September 6, 2022) – A woman and an infant were hospitalized with major injuries after a collision involving a Tri-Delta bus in Antioch on Monday night, according to the Antioch Police Department.
The incident happened on Delta Fair Boulevard near Century Boulevard at around 7:30 p.m. on Monday, September 5.
Police said a sedan drifted across the center median and collided with an oncoming bus. Both vehicles sustained major front-end damage following the collision.
A three-month-old infant and a 30-year-old woman were seriously injured in the collision and were both transported to the hospital for treatment.
Two other injured parties were treated by the responding medical crews.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
