Upland, California (June 26, 2023) – At least one person died, and fifteen others were injured in a ten-vehicle pileup that happened Sunday night in Upland, the San Bernardino County Fire Department reported.

Ten vehicles collided on the 10 Freeway at Euclid Avenue, impacting both freeway directions.

San Bernardino County firefighters responded to the scene and found some people trapped in their cars.

The firefighters freed the victims and assessed all parties involved in the accident.

At least one person died in the crash.

Two patients were classified as delayed, and thirteen others suffered minor injuries.

All freeway lanes remained shut down as emergency personnel helped the victims.

The closure caused heavy traffic on the freeway.
