Blanca Quevedo Killed in Indio Pedestrian Accident on 10 Freeway near Jackson Street

Indio, California (April 26, 2023) – 40-year-old Blanca Quevedo of Thermal has been identified by the Riverside County coroner’s office as the man who died after being struck by a car in Indio on Monday night.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on eastbound Interstate 10 near Jackson Street at around 10 p.m.

The officers who responded to the accident found Quevedo unresponsive after being hit by a semi-truck.

Quevedo was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
