, CA. – One person was killed in a bicycle collision near Woodland on Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened on County Road 29 west of Highway 113 at about 8:17 a.m. March 26.

According to CHP, a bicyclist was riding eastbound on CR 29 in the bicycle lane when a tractor driver failed to see him and struck him.

The rider, a Woodland man in his 50s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the tractor, a Woodland man in his 60s, remained at the scene and was not suspected of impairment.

The CHP is investigating the accident.
